NYX Cosmetics in Australia

Yes it is true NYX Cosmetics has finally hit Australian shores. They will now be available at Target stores. I have been waiting absolutely forever for the brand to come to Australia. There is a Target near me that apparently already stocks the brand. If you live in Melbourne I suggest you check out Bourke Street Target as for other places around Australia check out their facebook page here. Am I the only one that has a massive NYX wish list? The prices are said to be varied between $8.95 - $21.95. I will be going to pick up some products hopefully by Thursday. I definitely have my eye on the lippies. Please leave me some product recommendations if you've tried any great NYX products.

Are you excited that NYX is finally here?
What do you plan on buying?

Until next time,
Cindy x

Revlon Lip Butter Spring 2013 Collection Swatches

Revlon lip butters have taken the world by storm throughout this year and the previous year. And I, just like everyone else, absolutely love them. They are so buttery and have good colour pay off while not making my lips dry. Me being someone who watches a lot of YouTube I heard the US beauty bloggers rave about the new colours earlier in the year. Spring is finally here and the new Pacific Coast Collection is out. It was released in September. I believe the collection includes nail polishes, lip butters, eye shadow quads and baby sticks which is for the lips and cheeks but unfortunately for us Aussies is I think is not available as I haven't seen it anywhere. I managed to snag all 4 new lip butter shades while Priceline was having a Buy 1 Get 1 deal on Revlon lip products.

L-R: 027 Juicy Papaya, 047 Pink Lemonade, 053 Sorbet, 063 Wild Watermelon

L-R: Juicy Papaya, Pink Lemonade, Sorbet, Wild Watermelon
Juicy Papaya: a light coral orange. Goes on pretty sheer for me as my lips are fairly pigmented. Gives me lips a nice coral tint.
Pink Lemonade: a light nude pink. This is a MLBB kind of colour. It gives the lips a nice sheer tint.
Sorbet: cool berry-toned fuchsia. This is more pigmented then the other two and gives my lips a nice rosy tint.
Wild Watermelon: medium dark coral red. Wild Watermelon is the most pigmented at of the 4 and is probably the most talked about. I absolutely love this colour.

T-B: No Product, Juicy Papaya, Pink Lemonade, Sorbet, Wild Watermelon

Collective Haul ♥ Hair care & Skincare

Hello lovelies, how have you been? I'm extremely sorry that I've been MIA these past few months, it seems that every time I sit down to write a post life seems to be getting in the way. So I'm sorry but I'm going to try and post more regularly. During the time I haven't been posting I've done a lot of shopping. This is a collective haul so some of these things may have been bought at the start of July while some products were purchased recently. I have decided to break it up into two separate posts. As you can tell from the title this post is going to be on haircare and skincare. Without further ado lets get hauling.

Clean & Clear Deep action daily scrub | Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Daily Wash | Garnier Dark Spot Corrector Night Treatment | St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub | St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub
Clean & Clear Deep Action Daily Scrub - $5.99
I purchased this during Priceline's 40% off skincare sale. I was looking for a new scrub that wasn't too harsh on the skin and this looked like it would be gentle as you can use it daily. This product is recommended to be used twice daily but I personally wouldn't use it everyday maybe 2 to 3 times a week to avoid your skin drying out and won't be stripped of its natural oils. This scrub claims to be oil free and doesn't clog pores.

Clearasil Daily Clear Vitamins & Extracts Daily Wash
I didn't purchase this product but in fact won it in a giveaway. I can't find this product online so not really sure what the price is but I'm sure that you can buy this from Priceline. I've heard quite a bit about this face wash online so I was pretty excited when I found out that I won. This face wash contains avocado and pomegranate extracts. Avocado extracts is known for its nourishing properties while pomegranate extract is an antioxidant that helps keep skin looking healthy. I haven't tried this yet as I have many other cleansers to get through but it does smell amazing though.

Garnier Dark Spot Corrector Night Treatment - $14.99
Since I absolutely love the original Garnier Dark Spot Corrector I decided to pick this up to see how it would compare. I have only used this for 3 nights so I'm not sure what my thoughts are on this product yet. The product has a really strong alcohol scent which I find really distasteful. I get a really weird feeling when I know I'm applying chemicals onto my face (is that just me?).

St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub - $5.99
After hearing Ingrid (missglamorazzi) rave about this in a favourites video I just had to pick it up. The RRP is $9.99 but I purchased this during the 40% off skincare sale that Priceline had going on so I only paid $5.99 for this scrub. I have used this product a few times and to be completely honest it hasn't blown me away and I probably wouldn't repurchase. I'm not a huge fan of the smell but I don't particularly hate it. The actually particles of the scrub is much smaller than previous scrubs that I have tried.

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub - $5.99
This is a repurchase for me as I truly love this scrub. Unlike the green tea scrub the particles in this are larger and I feel like it exfoliates the skin better. I adore the scent. It is recommended to be used 3 to 4 times a week for best results. This is probably my HG scrub. If you would like a comparison between the green tea and apricot scrub be sure to let me know I'll be more than happy to do so.

L'Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Masque | Clinicare Nano-moisture Control Masque | Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque | Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Split End Protector Mask
L'Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Masque - $4.00
When I was browsing the aisles at my local Target I realised that there was a lot of clearance price tags on the majority products in the hair aisle. I think my Target was clearing at their old hair products. I had my eye on this for a while but never got around to buying it. When I saw that the price tag was $4 I thought why the hell not. L'oreal claims that this hair masque will restore hair, make your locks stronger, leave hair silky to touch with a healthy shine. I have used this once so I haven't seen any difference so far. So I will continue to use it and hopefully review it soon.

Clinicare Nano-moisture Control Masque - $1.20
I picked this up during Priceline's 40% off haircare sale a few weeks ago. I haven't heard anything about this hair masque so I was intrigued. My hair is extremely dry and damaged, so I was hoping this product would bring some hydration to my lifeless hair as this product is for dehydrated and rebellious hair.  This leaves my hair feeling nice and silky soft and my hair isn't dry as it was before.

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque - $4.00
The green packaging caught my eye while I was at The Reject Shop. I normally wouldn't buy beauty related things from The Reject Shop but when I saw the price tag I thought it was a bargain. Out of all the hair masks I hauled I've used this the most, I think it's because of the amazing scent that I absolutely love.

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Split End Protector Mask - $2.00
It was my birthday in August so I was gifted a $5 voucher from Priceline. I wasn't sure what to get and honestly just wanted to spend it on anything, I didn't really mind. I used my $5 voucher on this and a hand cream which will be shown in the second part of this collective haul. As you can see I haven't even opened the plastic around it so I'm not sure what the colour, consistency and scent is. But I'm sure the smell would be heavenly as it is Herbal Essences.

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray | Schwarzkopf Deep Nutrition Instant Repair Leave-In Treatment  | Garnier Fructis Nutri-Repair 3 Instant Renewal Rinse Out Treatment | Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine 72H Heat Protection Leave-In Cream | TRESemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray
TRESemme Thermal Heat Tamer Protection Spray - $3.99
I have repurchased this several times before, I'm sure everyone has heard of it, this product had been mentioned by You-tubers and bloggers so many times. I like the mist it gives when I spray it into my hair and I feel like it evenly covers a big section of my hair then the sprays that make a section of my hair soaking wet with the product and other sections having no product. I picked this up when TRESemme was half price at Priceline before the 40% off haircare sale.

Schwarzkopf Deep Nutrition Instant Repair Leave- In Treatment - $4.80
I purchased this product and the next two hair products for 40% off from Priceline. As I mentioned before my hair is extremely damaged. I haven't tried much Schwarzkopf products before, but I bought this leave-in treatment mainly because it claims to nourish hair, repair hair damage and refills gaps in the hair cuticles. Haven't tried this yet so I can really say if it does exactly that.

Garnier Fructis Nutri-Repair 3 Instant Renewal Rinse Out Treatment - $4.17
This treatment contains three different oils Olive oil, Avocado oil and Shea oil. Olive oil gives the hair a healthy shine, avocado oil restores softness and shea oil gives the hair a silky feel. Garnier says that this treatment is enriched with 3 weightless fruit oils that instantly penetrates the hair fibre to deeply nourish and repair. Once again I haven't tried this product yet. I can't find this product on the Priceline website but I'm sure you can buy it for $6.95.

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine 72H Heat Protection Leave-In Cream - $4.79
Besides my hair being dry and damaged it is crazy frizzy, which is why I use heat on my hair almost daily. This product is for thick, dry and frizzy hair-  I think my hair ticks all of those boxes. I picked this up because its a heat protection cream but is also suppose to make you hair sleek and shiny for up to 72 hours. This cream contains keratin, phytokeratin and argan oil. I have used this product one and found that it didn't do anything to keep my frizz out bay and if you use to much product it can make your hair feel greasy and oily. My hair normally soaks products up like there's no tomorrow so I can apply lots of products without the fear of it being oily but with this product it did unfortunately make my hair greasy. So next time when I use this product I'm only going to apply a tiny bit- which is hard for me as I have a delusional theory that the more you apply the better it works.

TRESemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray - $5.99
I admit I bought this product because I saw the TV ad so many times. This is pricier than the other TRESemme heat protectant and I feel that it did exactly the same thing. All I can say is that I absolutely love the scent. It smells AMAZING.

L'Oreal Elnett Satin Normal Strength Mini Hairspray | L'Oreal Ever Sleek Frizz Taming Creme Serum | Clinicare Frizz Defying Serum Concentrate Leave On Treatment | Agania Hair Oil
L'Oreal Elnett Satin Normal Strength Mini Hairspray - $4.99
There were many mixed reviews on this hairspray so I decided to pick it up to try for myself. This hairspray is supposedly doesn't make the hair have that crunchy feeling that most hair sprays tend to give hair. Most people also say that the smell is simply horrible. I haven't tried it yet so I can't support these claims. There are different type of holds. I bought the smaller size just in case I didn't like it, but it also comes in a bigger 400ml can.

L'Oreal Ever Sleek Sulfate Free Smoothing System Frizz Taming Creme Serum - $14.99
I've been on the search for the perfect frizz taming serum. I enjoy using the L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Serum so I thought why not try this aswell. This is silicone free and controls frizz for 48 hours. This isn't much different to the Smooth Intense one as the results are fairly the same but the texture and smell is different. What I didn't like was the sticky feeling it gave my hands after use. This also doesn't weight down my hair. As you can see I've used more than half of the bottle already.

Clinicare Frizz Defying Serum Concentrate - $1.20
Just like the hair mask this was also $2. Like I said before I'm on the search for the perfect frizz taming serum. I was thinking of doing a most comparing all of the frizz serums that I've used so far.

Agania Hair Oil
I haven't heard anything about this hair oil. I got this from Big W I don't remember for how much but it was between $10-$15 I think. To be honest I mainly bought this product because of the colour of the packaging. I think this product is made in New Zealand not completely sure.

Sorry that this post is so damn long. Leave me comment below telling me if you've tried any of these products and if you liked it or not. Also tell me if you prefer longer haul post or short, straight to the point type of posts.

Maybelline Color Whisper Lipsticks In Australia + Swatches

Hello lovelies. I hope you are all doing well. I'm sure everyone has heard of the Maybelline Color Whispers. The Color Whispers are the equivalent of the Revlon Lip Butters which I absolutely love. These lipsticks are raved a lot internationally. And these babies have hit Australian shores. Last Thursday I was at Priceline having my weekly dose of makeup browsing when I spotted a 'new' sign by the Maybelline section. I waddled over and saw these amazing lipsticks that I have waited forever for to come to Australia. I also noticed that there were five new nail polish shades added to their Color Show line called the Color Show Sequins. Now back to the lipsticks, at Priceline the Whispers cost $14.95. Which I think is decent considering Australia's outrages prices. There is 8 shades currently available in Australia. Unfortunately I didn't have the money to buy these lippies at the time but once I do have money I'll be going back and buying all of them, so the swatches below are in-store swatches. I apologize if the pictures are bad quality and aren't as accurate. I was planning to buy all of the lipsticks as a prize for a lucky reader. Let me know in the comments if that would be something you would be interested in winning. The packaging is fairly similar to the Revlon Lip Butters. The outside is in the shade of the actual lipstick. The word 'Whisper' is written on the side of the lid. I'm sorry that I didn't take a picture of the packaging. Now let's get onto the swatches:

L-R: 25 Lust for Blush, 40 Orange Attitude, 45 Who Wore it Red-er, 55 One Size Fits Pearl,  60 Petal Rebel, 65 Pink Possibilities, 90 Oh La Lilac, 95 Mad for Magenta

L-R: Lust for Blush, Orange Attitude, Who Wore it Red-er, One Size Fits Pearl
Lust For Blush: A muted cool-toned mauve pink. This shade would be perfect for those who love pinky nudes.
Orange Attitude: A juicy orange. I personally don't like to wear orange lipstick but this shade is a more of a toned down orange so if you're scared of wearing bold orange like I am I suggest you try this colour as it isn't as bold as other orange lipsticks.
Who Wore it Red-er: A red-dish pink. I absolutely adore the name of this lipstick. This is a mix between a red and a pink. For those of you that are afraid of red lipstick this may be the perfect way to start getting into red lips as this shade isn't as bold as a red, making it a little easier to wear.
One Size Fits Pearl: A sheer, barely there pink. This colour is a perfect natural, nude shade. It's nude but has a hint of pink. This would be perfect for those who would want to wear nude lips but are afraid of getting  the corpse look.

L-R: Petal Rebel, Pink Possibilities, Oh La Lilac, Mad for Magenta
Petal Rebel: A sheer, cool blue-based pink. This is quite sheer so it adds a subtle hint of pink to the lips.
Pink Possibilities: A medium-toned pink. This is the perfect neutral pink.
Oh La Lilac: Nice lilac pink. I personally don't like to wear these types of shades as I think it looks horrendous on me. But I do like it on other people.
Mad for Magenta: Fuchsia with tiny shimmers. The above picture didn't capture the shimmers really well.

This is my first ever swatch post, let me know if you enjoyed it and if it was helpful. Also let me know if you have tried these lipsticks and in what shade you have. Are you planning on buying any of the Color Whispers?

Dove Pure Deodorant

Disclaimer: This product was sent to me for reviewing.  All opinions is and always will be 100% by own.

Hello everyone. Long time no blogging. I've been so busy lately. But I've finally had some free time.  Today I'm going to be doing a product review on the Dove Pure Deodorant. This deodorant comes in a roll on and aerosol form. I prefer to use the roll on form with all my deodorants. Like all Dove products, this contains 1/4 moisturising cream to help your skin look healthy. Dove Pure Anti-Perspirant Deodorant only contains the ingredients essential for keeping underarms dry. This deodorant doesn't contain any ingredients that can cause irritation. So this would be great for those with sensitive underarms. I don't exactly have overly sensitive skin. But would like to start using more natural products. Dove Pure has:
  • No Parabens
  • No Colourants
  • No Fragrance
  • No Alcohol*
*refers to Ethyl Alcohol
It is uniquely formulated for those who want effective 48 hour protection but do not want discomfort and irritation. Even though I haven't tested out the 48 hour protection, I did find that it keep my underarms dry all day, even if I did some light exercise that day.

Since Dove Pure has no colourants it won't stain or leave marks on your clothing. This product has a very light scent. If you smelt it, it probably wouldn't smell like anything, I had to really smell it. It has a very light baby powder scent. It is basically non-exist. I found that this product gets the job done. It keeps my underarms dry without irritating them. I would recommend this to those who have really sensitive underarms.
I have tried the aerosol and found that it did sting my underarms. But the roll-on doesn't sting.

Would I repurchase? Maybe. But since I don't have extremely sensitive underarms I find I can use any type of deodorants.

Rating: 3/5

What deodorant are you using at the moment?

NOTD: #5

Hope your new year is off to a great start. I know I haven't been posting but I recently got sick. So my year isn't so great. This post is going to be a NOTD.
I've recently been getting into the Australis products lately. The nail polish claims to be streak free, high shine, intense colour which honestly it does what it says. The nail polish only took two coats to become opaque. The formula was also not to runny and didn't streak at all.

Peek-a-boo is a pastel lilac creme shade. I love the colour but I had some trouble with the application the polish was bubbly.
Outside shade with flash
Inside with flash
The pictures above are not the exact colour of the actual polish. The polish is more lilac and lighter but the picture make it look blue. I used flash as it was more accurate that without flash. I used two coats. Please excuse my bad cuticles. The brush size I really like, the pictures above were taken after 3 days of wear and hasn't chipped and I didn't use a base or top coat.
Pros: Opaque in two coats, streak free
Cons: Bubbly
I really like the polishes and I plan to buy more colours.
You can purchase this polish here
These polishes retail for $7.95.
